Kate has written for the screen for Jax Media, Parti Productions, Rickard Pictures, Heroes and Villains Entertainment, and Cavalier Films. In June 2014 she directed LAZARUS, a short film she wrote about a teenager in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, starring Craig muMs Grant (HBO's Oz, SLAM), Isaiah Mueller, and Marsha Stephanie Blake (Orange is the New Black, HBO's Girls, Broadway's Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino). Kate teaches screenwriting at the Tisch School of the Arts.
